Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Eventsafi's notetaker, browser extension, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Using the Service
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
Recording consent
You are responsible for obtaining any consent required by law before recording or transcribing a meeting. The Service makes its presence visible to participants, but you must comply with all applicable recording and privacy laws in your jurisdiction.
Your content
You retain all rights to the meetings, transcripts, and briefs you create with the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide and improve the Service for you.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Do not record meetings without the right to do so.
Plans and billing
Some features are offered on paid plans. Fees, billing cycles, and usage limits are described at the point of purchase. Paid features may rely on usage-based costs (for example, recorded minutes).
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". Transcription and AI-generated summaries may contain errors and should not be relied upon as the sole record of a meeting. We disclaim warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eventsafi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
